Jay is our lead singer, rhythm guitar and keyboard player. He is a qualified Life Coach and Holistic Counsellor dedicated to self-improvement, healing, education and transformation. Jay struggled with drug addiction in his early adulthood and has been clean for over 15 years after after having hit rock bottom and having something of an epiphany because of it. He afterwards spent many years educating high school students about the dangers of drug addiction and now mentors many people interested in conscious self improvement. He is passionate about assisting other ones to remember who they are, find deep purpose, actualise their potential and create lasting change.
Jay is also most thrilled to be the founder of New Men Arising. This is a growing men’s group assisting men from around the world rise into greater states of love, clarity and wisdom.

Nerida does the lighting for the band, programming and running the light show is quite a new and enjoyable endeavour. She has a deep love of Nature and art so it’s quite ideal to be the Lighting Tech. Initially having a background in floristry, parenting and life experience which led Nerida into a career in Life coaching and Mentoring, working with people to reconnect with what makes their hearts sing and be more authentic in their life's choices. Nerida worked as a florist for many years so it was a natural progression into being a lighting designer. |

Cat Cronin - Sound Engineer

Rupert sings and plays violin in the band as our very special guest, having trained as a classical concert violinist in Australia and Europe. He is a life-long blues player and his unique bluesbreaker electric violin tone and vocals bring an eclectic sound to the mix. Rupert has a busy career with many local and overseas engagements each year, he sits in with us whenever he can and much fun is had by all. Rupert is a former sideman to the stars, artists he has worked with include the Vienna Chamber Opera, Beatles producer Sir George Martin, Olivia Newton-John, John Farnham and Demis Roussos to name a few. He enjoys a solo classical career when he’s not on stage with the band, and regularly tours Australia and Europe including Tate Britain, Museum of London Docklands, The Guildhall Festival, Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Recital Centre. He has released over 35 of his own albums including 5 albums commissioned and recorded by ABC Classic FM and lives on farm in the Western Australia countryside with his partner Tanya Servaas and their farm pets.
Nathan King
Nathan is a qualified life coach and aspiring author. He started playing bass in high school. He loves classic English cars and motorcycles. Nathan also facilitates personal development groups and healing circles for people of all ages who wish to transcend their fears and embrace their potential.
Nathan is also Michael's No.1 son.
Tanya is Rupert's partner and our band manager. She is a professional marketing and public relations professional band manager Tanya Servaas has more than 25 years experience in event management ranging from successfully delivering large-scale events for over 30,000 people to smaller events and functions for 100 people or less. Over many years she has also developed, implemented and evaluated state-wide and national campaigns and liaised with stakeholders including customers, suppliers and media. Tanya is passionate about music, the arts and professional/personal development, healing and wellbeing. Her partner is our violinist Rupert and they both love spending time on the farm with their donkeys, alpacas, sheep and goats when they are not working and touring.
John Kurzer is our stage manager. He is a jack of all trades having been a truck driver, aged care nurse and had his own milk delivery business to name just a few.
Nerida Miles - Lighting Technician
Cat is a qualified Mentor, life coach, and an accomplished artist. Amy has been teaching her how to mix and she will be doing our live sound mixing for us. She is doing a great job. Cat has had the great privilege of working in London and around the world as a Designer & Fabricator partnering with Sculptors, Artists, writers, Creatives, Gallery's & Theatres. Her greatest joy is to encourage ones she works with to tap into their true inner potential & assist them to find their unique way of expressing that.
As a coach & mentor Cat offers her experiences of navigating recovery from a life changing car crash, traversing tricky terrain with trauma & what it takes to grow from a doormat to dynamite. Cat holds BA Honours Degrees in the Arts and has exhibited internationally & is a certified Coach, Mentor, & Keynote Speaker, speaking on Hope & Resilience within Universities, hospitals, Charities, groups and organisations.
